GROUPING FX STORM

Hello, here are the groups with and without the magazine. Why this difference in diameter?
FX STORM,cal 5.5 pellets JSB (jumbo) 273ms 190 bar.

I did experiment new with magazine targets 15 meters diameter 13 mm, no magazine 8mn, JSB 16 JUMBO GRAIN 275M 190bar

Obviously, it has to be the Mags themselves or the Indexing system, but is there any metal dusting in the mag area?

As a first course of action I would remove the 'O' rings & clean-up the mags themselves - replace the rings after rubbing a small amount of non-mineral oil on them (veg. oil will do ). Clean out the breech area then try the gun without pellets (mag in) to see if its indexing/turning cleanly.

When 'O' rings age they can sometimes swell up - if they look at all dry or cracked, sling 'em out they are easily replaced (size is on the FXOC Cyclone exploded diagram & parts list).

I will look for new o ring, and try to build a system for introducing the most pellets facillement without magazine (requiring little finger),
the grouping is good without magazine. (traduction google)

To make it easier for you,

The metal magazines are geometrically problem free (if correct type for that FX gun)

'O' rings change with time (& when used as retainers on a magazine they are doing a job they were not designed for)

The Indexing system (2 parts; Indexing lever & Magazine stop) can be deformed

Unfortunately the Storm's cocking action makes watching the magazine turning (mentioned earlier) quite difficult, but you should be looking for a smooth, single movement (with no hesitation)
